David Stankard Project 2025 feature event

Thank-you to the many participants, volunteers, sponsors, and race-committee for making the Huntsville Sprint Triathlon the best around! When you participate in this race you are continuing a legacy – the Huntsville Sprint Triathlon is one of the oldest in the country! The Huntsville Sprint Triathlon is a family-friendly event and is great for beginners as well as seasoned triathletes. The Huntsville Sprint Triathlon is produced by Team Rocket Tri-Club and donates 100% of profits to charities.  Since 2020 your participation has allowed us to give a total of $30,500 to the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation and the David Stankard Project.

Race Description:

400m SWIM/7mile BIKE/3 mile RUN

Athletes will begin the race with a 400-m pool swim. They will then transition to their bikes for a 7-mile ride. The bike course features a coned off bike lane for racers only.  After the ride, athletes will complete the race with a 3-mile run course that includes grass, gravel, sidewalks, and asphalt (yes, we have it all!).  The run course utilizes the new greenway from the Aquatics Center to Johnson Road.
